You might be wondering...Italy for six months? We have considered taking the boys out of school for the past several years to study somewhere in Europe and Florence has won the competition...the birthplace of the Renaissance! We are hoping this will be the experience of a lifetime for the kids and will continue to nurture the love of travel we are encouraging in our children. The boys will be attending the International School of Florence for the next six months. We leave on 12/31 and Renee, Ryan, and Evan will be back in mid-June. Fred will be going over the first week to help get them settled and has two other two week trips planned in February and April. Follow along with us if you like on the Blog that follows and if you are in the neighborhood look us up. We have rented an apartment in the Santa Croce neighborhood.

I'm so excited to follow your family through this amazing adventure! The summer after C.B. and I got married, we did a backpacking trip through many countries in Europe, including 3 stops in Italy and it was the trip of a lifetime. I can't believe how old Ryan and Evan have gotten! I was so happy to get your Christmas card and see everyone is doing so well! Be safe and I look forward to living and learning through your posts!! ReplyDeleteloved reading your posts and of course loved the pictures. brings back wonderful memories of the short time we spent there during our whirlwind tour of Italy 2 years ago. I would love to see pictures of the school the boys are going to and your apartment. take care and we will check in from time to time.
