Fred in Dallas...the last post?

Last day of school was today...the boys are done!  The family flies back to the States Monday...six months after they left.  Wow.  Maybe I'll keep blogging about travel, even if no one reads it...this has been fun.  I have loved actually living in Florence (albeit briefly) while reading about the history...to see and feel the stone that Michelangelo loved, walk the Arno that has ravaged the city on multiple occasions, and see where Savonarola was actually burned (you have to know a bit about Florentine history to know who this was).  I think I'll finish with some portraits of the people of Florence...and the rest of the wonderful places we visited...but first some picture of us!:
